With Bellingham becoming renowned as an ideal community for bicyclists, a local hotel is making short excursions possible for guests.
Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel and Conference Center is allowing registered guests to borrow bicycles, made available by The Kona Bike Shop, so they can see the city on two wheels rather than four.
The bikes can be borrowed for up to two-and-a-half daytime hours and come with helmets and locks, giving guests the ability to explore local parks, neighborhoods and the waterfront. Maps showing favorite local routes and streets with designated bike lanes also are provided to Four Points Bellingham guests.
“Bicycling has become one of Bellingham’s favorite activities,” said Larry MacDonald, General Manager of Four Points Bellingham. “We know many of our guests will enjoy getting around our scenic community on a bicycle.”
Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel and Conference Center, managed by Providence Hospitality Partners, is located at 714 Lakeway Drive, Bellingham, just off Interstate 5 at Exit 253. Four Points by Sheraton is a brand of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. Four Points Bellingham is totally smoke-free throughout its 132 guest rooms, two restaurants (Poppe’s 360 Neighborhood Pub and Chinuk), indoor pool, fitness area and 14,000 square feet of meeting-room space.
