A jury of five people, including David Syre’s art curator, Ana Palacio, has nominated three winners from a large range of applications. Six other special nominees will be shown at the final exhibition that will officially open on December 7th, 2019 and stay open through February 27th, 2020.

“The selection process was not easy and we were all very impressed by the visual translation of the theme ‘Wishes and Dreams.’ All applicants have shown their full commitment to investigate the topic and to represent it through different drawing and painting techniques,” referred the jury committee.

‘Wishes and Dreams’ was meant to inspire the students to envision their future, to express their inner thoughts, and to represent a world they would like to live in. The jury based their decisions not only on the technical execution but also on the creative rendering of the theme, the artist’s statements, and their motivations to participate in this call.
