More on PST’s Creekwalks:
In the 25 years since the Olympic Pipeline ruptured, spilled nearly 250,000 gallons of gasoline into Whatcom Creek, and then ignited, claiming the lives of two boys and a young man in Bellingham, WA, Pipeline Safety Trust (PST) has led guided walks of Whatcom Creek in order to highlight the negligence on behalf of the Olympic Pipe Line Company and the lack of oversight by the federal government that led to the 1999 Tragedy.
These “creekwalks,” tell the story of the 1999 Olympic Pipeline Tragedy as it unfolded in the place where it happened.
