We are back and we are so excited to see you in person once again! We hope you can join us for the annual Bill Wright Viking Golf Classic, a fun-filled day for all Vikings to enjoy a great round of golf with friends complete with food, drink and prizes while supporting WWU Athletics. The tournament will take place at Sudden Valley Golf & Country Club on Friday, June 3, 2022. All tournament proceeds benefit Viking Athletics.
If you and your team wish to get a jump on the competition, come out to the club on Thursday, June 2nd for a practice round and receive 50% off your greens fee. That Thursday evening, we will have a hosted horse race. Here’s how the horse race works: Players sign up as a two-person team (with combined handicap of no less than 17.) The competition is a process of elimination in which high scoring teams will drop out on each hole. The remaining teams continue playing with a win, place and show team determined on the last hole. There is no fee for this competition. To fit in your practice round and participate in the horse race, it’s recommended you schedule your practice tee time by noon. The horse race will begin around 5:30 p.m.
