Argentine Tango Classes and Practice @ Majestic Ballroom

Larry Kalb and Rebecca Niemier are thrilled to be collaborating with our Bellingham tango community to host a new weekly tango practica, at the beloved Majestic Ballroom, 7:30-9:30, Wednesdays, beginning September 1, 2021. Larry and other DJ’s will play an 80/20 mix of traditional and alternative music. Entrada is $10, cash or check.

Rebecca and Larry will teach prior to Practica, 6:30-7:30 pm, offering monthly topics for various levels of dancers. Class fee is $15 and includes 2-hr Practica.

September classes begin September 1, as a 5-week progressive series. Topic will be Playful Ocho Cortados for all levels, including beginners. $75 for 5 classes includes all 5 practicas. Mastery of this pattern opens a myriad of options (embellishments, barridas, enganches, etc.) which we will explore according to the group’s dedication to practice each weekly layer of material.

Arrangements can be made if you must miss a class.
